§ 14-4. Anti-discrimination policy.

  • It is the policy of the city that all employees are entitled to a work environment free from all forms of discrimination including sexual harassment. No employee of the city shall be discriminated against in promotion, discipline, pay, or any other conditions of employment based on sex, race, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, political affiliation, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic that is protected by law.
